Her family was in the luxurious Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan with the family of a Catholic family. She was enrolled by her parents into the Convent of the Sacred Heart which was a prestigious, religious and exclusive school. She was very fond of music from the time she was an infant. She learned how to play the piano and at the age of thirteen, she wrote her first tune. She was a part of open-mic night. Her top singers were queen Michael Jackson Madonna, David Bowie. When she finished high school she was accepted into the Tisch School of Art of New York University where she was a music student.
